Vince Semenuk

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta he attended university in the United Kingdom and has a Master of Arts degree majoring in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. After graduating he attended the University of Birmingham in England to obtain his Bachelor of Laws degree. 

Mr. Semenuk is an associate at Dunn & Associates. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta he attended university in the United Kingdom and has a Master of Arts degree majoring in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. After graduating he attended the University of Birmingham in England to obtain his Bachelor of Laws degree.

Throughout University, Mr. Semenuk always returned to Calgary during the summer months and worked in the Provincial Court of Alberta, Civil Division as a court clerk. Upon graduation from Law School, Mr. Semenuk immediately sought employment in Calgary at a law firm while completing his Canadian Accreditation prior to obtaining articles. He began work as a summer student in August of 2013 at Dunn and Associates and thereafter completed his articles with this firm as well. Upon being called to the Bar in 2015, the lawyers at Dunn and Associates offered him a position as a Junior Associate.

Mr. Semenuk has been practicing criminal law at the Provincial Court and Queen’s Bench trial level and endeavors to provide affordable legal counsel in the areas of impaired driving, dangerous driving, drug trafficking/possession charges, thefts, assault, sexual assault, and possession/distributing of child pornography. He also appears in Traffic Court on a regular basis. Since 2013, Mr. Semenuk has dedicated himself to learning the practice of Criminal Law and has been mentored individually and collectively by the members of Dunn and Associates.

Mr. Semenuk accepts both private and Legal Aid retainers and will appear in all Provincial Court locations across Alberta. As an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, Mr. Semenuk has also joined the Calgary Criminal Defence Lawyers Association and the Calgary Bar Association. Outside of work, Mr. Semenuk enjoys spending time outdoors with activities such as skiing, golfing, and hunting however he strives to make himself available to all clients even outside business hours. Every client is provided with his personal cell phone number upon request so that clients can reach him with questions as they arise, not just during regular business hours.
