Lawyer asks judge to order Crown to provide disclosure

Lawyers defending four men accused of conspiring to kill RCMP officers during a protest and blockade at the Coutts border last year, want the judge hearing the case to adjourn much of the preliminary proceedings and order the Crown to provide more disclosure.

Jury begins deliberations in drug smuggling trial

The jury returned with their verdict Monday evening, finding Gurminder Toor guilty of unlawful importation and drug possession for the purpose of trafficking. His wife, Kirandeep Toor, was found guilty of importation and a lesser but included offence of drug possession.
